Just got into a HUGE fight with a neighbor
Our new fridge was delivered.
We live in a condo (they are converted apartments, to there are upstairs and downstairs units)
We are in suburbia over here, but as a way to control the flow of traffice, the street out front is a 1 way.
Our association rules allow for the unloading or packing of items, and that trucks can be in the road, but only for the duration of the unloading.
So, PC Richards left the truck out front while bringing in the fridge
An elderly couple who lives in the complex wanted to leave, so they just started honking and honking.
THEN, they start walking back and forth from their car to our door.
Our downstairs neighbor (bless his soul), told them that it would be a few minutes, so maybe they should just back up and go around.
They were unwilling because it's a 1 way (give me a BREAK...this is NOT the city...NO ONE is here!)
Then, the woman starts screaming to the delivery guys that she's going to call PC Richards. They tell her, 'go ahead'
I yell out after her that our association rules allow for us to unload.
A minute later, she starts crossing my threshold and screams, 'MOVE THIS TRUCK NOW'
So, I look over my bansister and see her approaching from the small common hallway to MY stairs, so I scream back
'GET OUT OF MY HOME NOW OR I WILL CALL THE POLICE'
So, then she yelled that she was going to call the police.
Then, they left anyway. Shortyly later, PC RICHARDS also left.
So, we tried to tell our building manager, but he went out.
I am FURIOUS!!!! How dare she start to cross my threshold and start screaming at me!
Being as they are elderly, I doubt that they work anymore. So, I am sure they are going to try to make our lives hell.
