If you want something quick you can do a pudding pie.
Cookies are good too.
I'm getting a recipe from my MIL and going to try and make chocolate PB bars.

this may be cheating- cause its not completely from scrath

but for christmas i went and bought that 'signature desserts' boston cream pie that you can buy in the regular baking aisle of the super market and it was sooo yummy. i also made chocolate covered straweberries

put the boston creme pie in the middle of the platter - put a couple of the strawberries prettily on top of the pie and had the rest of the chocolate covered strawberries surrounding the cakes...

i made the chocolate covered strawberries even more pretty by sprinkling the litte round colored sprinkles on the chocolate when it was still hot!!!!

I made a Chocolate Truffle Pie for Xmas and everyone said that it was out of this world.

Cheesecake!
1 Keebler graham cracker crust
2 packages of Philadelphia cream cheese ( the ones in foil squares)
2 eggs
some vanilla extract
1/2 c sugar

Get cream cheese to room tempertaure, beat with electric mixer, add eggs, vanilla, and sugar, beat until well blended, pour in crust bake at 350 degrees about 45 min or until it is lighly brown on top,. Cool refrigerate, top with canned strawbeeries or favorite fruit.
If the cake cracks do not worry fruit will be on top to cover it.
I made this for X mas day and Thanksgiving and it was a hit.

What about doing an assortment of chocolate covered fruit? You could do also do white chocolate....some ideas would be pineapples, cherries, strawberries, kiwi, bananas....it would be beautiful and different!

my aunt makes this awesome chocolate pudding pie. She uses social tea shortbread cookies and crumbles them up on the bottom of the pie tin, they makes my-t-fine chocolate pudding and fills up the pan and then makes homemade whipped cream and tops it off..my whole family begs her to make it.
