So I sent FMIL some pics in an email and I addressed her by her first name and she replied back 'please call me mom' ... ahh i'm all teary now I love it!!

That is awesome. Lol i have not been given the go ahed to address my future in laws as mom and dad. I probably will not be able to call them that myself. Although, just to know that they would want me to call them that would make me feel special and wanted by their family.
