May 28th, so that gives me 2 months to lose as much weight as possible.
Is 6 weeks before the wedding an average time for your first fitting??
I do not need a bustle b/c I have a detachable train and I do not need it hemmed b/c I had a hollow to hem before I ordered it.

Its average - mine is april 1st - about 6-8 weeks before - i think youre good!

I think that's plenty of time. I want to wait until the last possible moment so I can lose as much weight as possible too! I'm nervous even doing it 6 weeks in advance, because if you average losing a pound a week, you can be 6 lbs. less on your wedding day than you are at your fitting! Mine has a corset back, so I'm hoping it will be OK if I continue to lose weight after the fitting. Congrats on scheduling your fitting, that must be exciting!

just be careful with that hallow to hem..my dress was ordered the same way ( paid an extra $50) and it still had to be taken up 3 inches
