Just my curiosity...what time does your ceremony and then CH start?
I still feel like there's so much time in between my Ceremony and CH but I'm just curious when everyone else's starts...
Ceremony - 2:30 CH - 6:00

Ceremony 6:30 CH 7:00 pm. We are obviously getting married at RH and If I want i could push it back to 7

my ceremony and reception are in the same hall, so we're having everything back to back. ceremony at 11:30, CH at 12, and reception at 1.
i've been to many weddings that start around the same time. it's suppose to leave you enough time to take pictures and stuff. don't worry, guests are just expected to find a way to kill time before the reception. you don't want to be crunched for time as well.

Ceremony is at 4 CH is at 7:30

we havea HUGE gap...
ceremony 1pm cocktail 7
but i figure that most of the people who will come to the church will be my close family. So they can just go back to FIL or my parents or other family's homes and get ready.

ceremony 3:30 AND cocktail hour is at 7, i am concerned about the timing as well, but we need the time for pics and traveling...I have heard that guests are typically not thrilled with this...oh well

and, they are only about 20 minutes apart.... I dunno, depending on where we decide to take pics we might bump the ceremony to 3:00 instead.

Church- 5:00pm CH- 8:30pm
it's on a friday night and we are the last party....but I don't mind the time or the gap...since we do a receiving line at the church and the church is about a good 30 mins with friday traffic from Jericho Terrace so we will need the time and the time for pics...

right now its ceremony at 3:30 andh CH at 7:30 but we are probably changing the ceremony to 2:30
its ok though bc our RH has a lounge area for early arrivals with some food for them, drinks and music. ALso FH's mom said she will do something at her house, she probably has to come for pics so she said she'll tell her sister to take everyone back to the house.

invite for our ceremony (on premises) is at 7pm~cocktail hr to follow at 8pm~

Ceremony = 1 Cocktail Hr = 6
I booked my church a year and a half in advance and the later wedding (2:30) was already taken!!! Grrr.

I don't have much time. My Church is at 3:45 and my CH is at 5:30.
