Just my curiosity...what time does your ceremony and then CH start?

I still feel like there's so much time in between my Ceremony and CH but I'm just curious when everyone else's starts...

Ceremony - 2:30
CH - 6:00

its ok though bc our RH has a lounge area for early arrivals with some food for them, drinks and music. ALso FH's mom said she will do something at her house, she probably has to come for pics so she said she'll tell her sister to take everyone back to the house.

Is that the new wine and cheese room you're talking about?

is that what its called lol, when they showed it to us they just said we have a lounge for early arrivals lol but hmmm thats probably what its called...they have a couple of couches, then a table where they put food

Ceremony either 10:30 or 11:00..haven't decided yet

CH starts at 1:00....the RH is literally 2 blocks from the church. FMIL thinks that a 10:30 ceremony (we aren't doing a full mass) will end and we'll be out by 11:30......that gives our guests an hour and 1/2 to go to the hall and stay in the lounge. For us, that will be tons of times to take pics and then we can defintely make our CH. Not sure yet though...

church at 1 30 and reception at 7 30

it is about an hour/hour and half from church to reception so that will take up time

and my mom will have everyone at our house in between..i will probably take some pics at my house too...

I'm getting married at the RH. So there isn't much time in between. Ceremony starts at 6:30 cocktail hour at 7.

The church is at 3:00

we are still deciding between CH at either 7 or 8.. leaning towards 8 since it is a friday night.. people not getting out of work until 5 and having to sit in traffic... etc.

ceremony- 6pm
Cocktail hour- 6:30 - 8pm (we extended it)

And they are about 45 minutes away from each other. which means probably not enough time to stop for pics

I just want to say that I looove you for doing this post! this is the one thing I'm having such a hard time figuring out. Winter months get so dark soo early so I don't want to leave the church when its dark, but I also don't want to have soo much time between the church and CH because the RH is like 10 min. away... sooo thank you for thinking of this post!!

We are doing the same thing.....ceremony at 4:30 and CH at 5:00......I want to take most of our pictures before the ceremony so there isn't a huge gap in between the two and I won't miss most of the cocktail hour.

Ceremony at 3pm and CH at 5pm. I don't want people having to wait around so long before things get started. I'll have a lot of OOTs and it makes it easier for them to just get to the RH and continue with the festivities.
