You definitely need to get moving, if your wedding was during an off-peak month that would be one thing, but youre having your wedding during a popular time, a lot of vendors will get snatched up (and already have been) if you don't work fast...my bm is having the same trouble, she's getting married a week before you and she only has the RH and nothing else! I'm freaking out for her!

Thanks for your honesty. I am just so indecisive. I booked one hall, made two payments and ended up switching. I put a band on hold but I really wanted to see another one that got great reviews before I booked one eventhough I loved the band I saw. Ok...I am going to get off my lazy a$$ and do things. I just get so overwhelmed because it seems like the freakin list is a mile long. See there I go again making excuses.

You can definitely do it, we all go through our phases! I went through a phase for a couple of months myself but what worked for me was making a timeline....and I made goals for what I wanted to book and by when...it's really been working so far...i'm sure you'll be fine!

We are having about 160 hopefully but we are inviting 195. I am having my two sister as my MOH and FH is having his 3 sons. I like traditional photographers no cutesy poses for me. We are taking pics before the cocktail hour so we can enjoy ourselves at the cocktail hour.

Thanks about my son. Feel free to come borrow him for a weekend or two.

okay - traditional photographers that i've heard of:

Jessica Photography (i believe they are vendors on here).

Patken - though they do a nice mix of both.

I've heard lovely things about Pat with Golden Moments...(i think that's him).

We're using 12th Night.....they're amazing.

You are having a big wedding - so you may want 2 photographers...

Now - do you want a videographer?

This is the stuff you need to ponder....

DJ - do you want the give-aways, group dances, crazy mc guy? Nothing wrong with that - but then you can limit your choices based on your answers.

Videographer - do you want one/can you afford one? Do you want a movie or just a basic video? Again - this will help you decide which angle to take on it.

Florist - there are TONS of good florists out there - the way to go to at least start may be to call the florists that your RH recommends or go by recommendations on here.

I don't want a videographer. I think 2 photographers is a good idea. I want a band not a dj and no give aways for me. I budgeted a lot for flowers (I think it's a lot). I love flowers and want lots of them. I was thinking about Flowers By Brian but I hear mixed reviews about them.

I know, lol! I didn't even bother trying to read the whole thing! There's an LIW timeline that's very helpful that you should check out....it's easier to handle...

I dont think you should worry that much. I am getting married in May and I have Tall Grass booked and have my dress. I am still working on figuring out the DJ/photographer...and I have an appointment next week to finally order the BM dresses and get my dress hem'ed. I still need to order invitations, favors, bridal party gifts, tux, etc etc...
But all the Dj's and photogs that I have talked to other than one still has my date open and my weddings is 5 months away.
Dont stress too much.. relax and enjoy!
