We had 2 guests show up with gifts and 1 guest that came had a gift from our registry sent to our house

we got money.
before the wedding I got something from my registry sent to us as a wedding gift....and yes there were people who came and didnt even give a card. hope that doesnt happen to you.

as for stiffers, we had another two (one being the best man) but they both claim to just have forgotten, but its ben 47 days and no card.

yes, we had a few people who gave us actual gifts and we had a few people who also gave us no card and no gift...

We had one couple give us a check and crystal candlesticks. My cousin gave us engraved toasting flutes.

Another cousin gave us nothing -- not even a card! Another couple said that they had brought a gift, but had left it in the car because they weren't sure if we'd be able to transport the gift home from the reception. They said they'd get it to us after the wedding. It's almost 6 months later and I haven't heard another word about it.

My own DAD didn't even get us an engagement gift at our engagement party! That mother effer! How we are related I will never know. He is not helping out one bit with this wedding and doesn't even ask about it. I truly hope he doesn't even show up.

Tons, but we also had a ton of OOTers so we just assumed their present was their presence, since it cost them a bit to come (and we were just glad they were there).

One very good friend gave us a beautiful wooden salad bowl and serving fork/spoon in a giant hat box and wrapped in a lovely scarf. Totally unexpected and unique!

I think that was the only present we got on our wedding day. Lots of stuff came in the mail later on, which was a great thing to come home from the HM to! (And I got to know the UPS delivery man very well in the next few months!)
