just outrageous..

i don't know if i should laugh or

yet another rsvp issue i had to share..

one of FH's family friends rsvped as 3 (mom and 2 kids in their 20's) - we only invited mr & mrs but the mr. said he sick and can;t make it.. and wanted to send both kids with the wife... fine whatever.. rsvp's were due mid april


anyhooo FMIL calls to find out the names of the kids for the placecards and the mrs. goes.. my hubby decided to come.. FMIL told her.. well the numbers are in already and table has been arranged.. and the mrs. shoots back.. my husband DOESN'T NEED A PLATE BECAUSE HE DOESN'T EAT DINNER.. he just needs a chair.. i mean seriously.. FMIL said i'll have to check w/ FH..

That is absolutely crazy.....

yea for real.. he ain't comin.. FH is at work and made it clear that this man is not invited.. i heart FH

Just a bright suggestion for you brides that is in the process of sending out the invitations. Put the number of guests invited on your invite to avoid chaos. (ex. Mr. & Mrs.....I will put 2). I am doing that with my invitations bc I know people will try to sneak in others and I am definitely not having that.

my side did.. b/c in my community, people just assume they can bring the whole brood.. if they could bring their pets they would..

but FH's side felt it wasn't necessary and they ended up with a lot more people and just couldn't do anything about it.. so in such instances when people started changing their numbers (i guess people started talking about how all them will be attending), FH's side said.. sorry no more! I gotta give them credit for that.. well FH more than his parents.. but I agree.. we're close to 600 right now..

yup.. when we first made our list, it was 500ish.. but these extras people adding on their kids and people have called us and said their so and so is visiting,, we can't leave them.. it has a lot to do with my community.. big weddings are the norm.. and it's not something that can change fast..
