Just wanted to share...(A little long)

2 1/2 years ago I was living with my boyfriend (now my fiance). My 15 year old son was living 40 miles away with my ex-husband. My ex (a real big jerk)decided that he was moving to Oklahoma to live with a woman he met online. Now this would not have been a problem, except that my son had only 2 1/2 years of high school left and was devastated at the idea of having to move 40 miles away to live with us in a town he knew nothing about. There was no way he was going to Oklahoma. So....after long discussion we(fiance and I) decided that the only thing for me to do was to move back so that my son could finish high school with his friends. I told my fiance that I could not possibly expect him to wait that long for me (we had already been together for 2 1/2 years so 2 1/2 more would be a long time) and offered him an out. He said let's just try it and see what happens. Well I am happy to say that the 2 1/2 years is now officially over and today I finished moving back in. My son came too!!! It wasn't always easy for us to see one another, in fact at one point we were working completely opposing schedules for several months. I was lucky that my son is completely trustworthy and I was able to spend most weekends at my fiance's house, although I did feel guilty for leaving my son. It took real work to keep this relationship alive. I felt like a yoyo at times and sometimes had no idea where I was when I woke up in the morning.But in the end we now know that our relationship is rock solid and we can deal with anything. I am so incredibly lucky to have my fiance and can't wait for our wedding in September!!!

Your son is lucky to have such a great mom, and I'm sure he knows it. It's sounds like you are marrying a wonderful man also. Congratulations and Best of luck to all three of you!!
