just went to see Anchorman with husband and..

we didnt like it at all! And we loved Will Ferell in Elf. I thought it was so stupid an dI was bored out of my mind. I tried to find something funny to laugh at but I couldn't. Any opinions out there?

edited to say we love Will Ferrell too! My husband was so excited to see this and to saee him that disappointed was so sad..

FH and I absolutely LOVE Will Ferrell ... we were just watching 'The Best of Will Ferrell' on SNL the other night and were laughing our a$$es off .. he cracks me up without fail. We even have some skits of his that are our 'all time favorites' that never ceases to make us laugh no matter how many times we've seen them..

but I gotta say that Anchorman just looks flat-out dumb and we probably won't bother shelling out the bucks to see it (though I'll probably catch it on DVD whenever it comes out .. )

Wow, I'm surprised to hear this because I think it got really good reviews. I think Newsday gave it 3.5 stars...

That's upseting because we love Will Ferrell. I laughed so hard during Elf. I can't wait for the DVD to come out.

And I love Celebrity Jeopardy. Although I like Sean Connery on that skit more then anything else.

Ah, just like how your mother likes it.

I'm actually not a Will Ferrel fan. I love raunchy, dumb and slapstick comedy but for some reason, Ferrel just doesn't work for me. JMO.

That being said.. I aw 'Elf' too and FW and I thought it was one of the funniest movies ever.

Now.. Anhcorman I went to see Sunday with the FW and we couldn't do better than 'It was OK.' A couple of times I felt like I forced myself to laugh. Seriously.

I think I'll enjoy 'The Village' much more!

Hands down, one of our favorite Will Ferrell's skits is the 'Behind the Music Blue Oyster Cult' with Christopher Walken and Will Ferrell ... I simply cannot stop laughing everytime I see that

we just watched Old School the other night and cant wait for elf to come out on DVD(is it out yet?) but we tried so hard to laugh and we managed a few chuckles- the fight scene was ok- but im used to laughing out loud when will is on, especially on SNL....i heard it got 3 stars and that was another reason why we wnt.. oh well. im sure people will think its funny. i just wanted to post my opinion...

We saw Anchorman, and it was okay. FH loved it, but I felt like it kind of went nowhere. There were funny parts, but I was hoping it would be a little funnier.

OMG!!!!!!!! It was horrible. I have to be very honest....I went on Saturday night with my FSIL at Farmingdale and we walked out by 10:20 and the movie start time was 9:40.
I am so sad because I really like Will Ferell but this was just GARBAGE...IMO

I did however cry like a baby at the Jimmy's fund preview. With all the kids and the iron workers. I was hysterical!!!!!!!
