Justice of the Peace

My fiance and I are interfaith and we want to be married by a Justice of the Peace. We want someone who is charismatic and doesn't just run through a basic, 'Do you, do you?' ceremony. Does anyone have any recommendations of justices they've used or know of that fit this profile? Thank you!!!

Re: Justice of the Peace

I know a great judge that does weddings. Not sure if he would travel to Watermill though. he lives in Brooklyn.

I worked for him during law school and saw him perform weddings (in chambers). I still see him a lot and know his wife and grandkids.

He is VERY charming. LOL LOL However, he is not good with names at all and gives everyone nicknames. He did get the couples names right though. LOL LOL

Let me know if you want his info. FYI - his schedule can be crazy too since he is a federal judge and he travels a lot - and is on all sorts of committees & commissions.

I plan to ask him to marry us when I get a definite date. Him or FI's cousin who is a minister.
