Re: Kate Middleton's dress....

I thought she looked beautiful! The dress is a stunningly classic.
I thought her bouquet was a bit sad though!

Re: Kate Middleton's dress....

I think she looked absolutely beautiful. I loved the top of her dress b/c I love the lace. But i wasn't too thrilled with the bottom. It look too plain to me. Also what is up with her MOH wearing white/ivory too just like her?

BUT WHAT IS UP WITH THE FLOWERS??????

I liked that her flowers had meaning, each one stands for something.

I think she looked beautiful but I was definitely expecting a longer train. How do you ladies feel about the sister in white? Would any of you have your MOH wear white?

Re: Kate Middleton's dress....

I absolutely loved her dress! I thought it was classic and had a beautiful silhouette. It really showed off her shape and was young, but was still appropriate by royal standards. The flowers, on the other hand...ick! What's wrong with having some color? Perhaps it was bc Prince William wore such a crazy-colored dress uniform, it would have been hard not to clash (although I love his reason for wearing it). I would have liked to see some blue flowers to complement her engagement ring! Oh wait...she wasn't wearing her engagement ring, was she. Hm. Nevermind.

Re: Kate Middleton's dress....

The dress looked beautiful on her & I think it fit her style perfectly. She's not a 'wow' type of person but always dresses elegant and classy and imo, that's exactly what the dress was.

PS - I want that tiara!

it is pretty much what I thought I would see on her. LOVED the lace shoulders and arms! I definitely knew she would NOT wear a mermaid or anything like what we love here. It had to be timeless and elegant, just like she is.

crashing!
i agree, she had to wear something timeless and that would stand the test of time. also, they are generally more conservative 'across the pond' and would never wear anything like we wear here.
I think Pippa looked beautiful and even though it wasn't what i expected, i thought Catherine, as she wants to now be known by, looked beautiful.

Re: Kate Middleton's dress....

I thought she looked great, but it was kind of an 'oh ok' moment for me (to echo another comment). I'm glad that the dress wasn't huge, but at the same time I was kind of expecting/hoping for something a bit more modern. Her sister looked AMAZING.

Re: Kate Middleton's dress....

I thought her dress was perfect for her. She seemed so happy and comfortable in it and that is what matters. I thought that they tried to make the wedding as much about them as they could without disrespecting traditions.

I LOVED the way she looked. Perfect for a princess! I am very traditional and not edgy at all though.

Re: Kate Middleton's dress....

Diana's MOH wore white too. I believe it's the tradition over there.

Probably dates back to when a bridesmaids main purpose was to confuse potential kidnappers from stealing the bride and her dowery.
