Kate's Papiere or Papyrus in NYC?

Has anyone been to a consultation in NYC with Kate's Papiere or Papyrus for wedding invitations? Do you know how much the average cost is per invitation?

Also has anyone gone with a freelancer or friend who is a freelancer? I'm wondering what the difference in cost is.

Well, I haven't been to a cosultant @ Kate's, but I LOVE that place!!! They have gorgeous invitations (& everything else- I could spend HOURS in there)!!! (but pricey I think, so make sure you look around)

I LOVE Kate's!!!
I will say this much- I have been there and I have seen their books. You will be paying a ton for invites. Of course, your view of a ton and mine could be very different. They have stunning letter press stuff there too.

Thanks for the suggestion. We are looking around and debating about what we want to do for invitations--if we should do our own or not etc., and yes, we are paper snobs
