Keep your name, add his to the end, hyphonate or change?

hrmm Im still not sure..
My office has 3 other 'me's so I get email for people in Puerto Rico and email for Uraguay. Changing my name would be helpful at work.
Changing my name would mean people would stop assuming I speak spanish.
But.. well... Im sorta proud of my father's name
Being hispanic I could just add Jim's name.. but that would make my middle initials N.O. hehe Veronica NO!
anyone else thinking like or am I being a*nal

I'm taking his last name. I'll miss my Irish name (his is Italian), but my first name is Irish anyway. Also, believe it or not, I asked my dad how he would feel if I decided to keep our name and he said, 'Absolutely not!' Basically, he feels a wife SHOULD ALWAYS take the husband's name. And I thought he'd be honored...

Tanbride...EXACTLY! Law school, bar exam, my professional reputation...all with my maiden name. Glad I made sense!

I'm taking my FH's last name for all personal purposes...i want my kids to have the same last name as me. However, I'm in the middle of working on my doctoral degree, and I think I'm going to hyphenate for professional reasons. I'm having a hard time with the concept of losing my last name, though.
