so i decided what kind of gown i want ...KENNETH POOL...so i tell my sis (mh) and she informs me that his dresses start at like 2000.....so there goes that dream..the one that i want is def gonna be like 10,000 plus....this sux

A trunk sale is a sale where the designers dresses are like 10-15% off. There's also sample sales where you can get a sample dress for up 75% off. Just look around you can probely find a Kenneth Pool gown at a price you can afford!

thanks ladies..my heart fell to the floor when i heard ho wmuch his dresses go for..i told fh that i cant see myself in ne thing else...he think sim crazy

I have a kenneth pool gown, i got it from wedding salon of manhasset

When you go to a trunk show, they are usualy showing the latest seasons dresses. All dresses are 15% off, do not accept less than that.

There are also sample sales, mostly at the flagship store in the city called Amsale, but other stores may sell the sample...its usually 50% off, sometimes more.

His gowns start at 4k with the discount there is nothing in the 2k range

sample sales are when they sell the actual dress off the rack...thats how i got my gown

(not a kenneth pool, but reem acra...very similar design)

i saved a craploaddddd of money..i would NEVER have been able to afford a reem acra/kenneth pool that wasnt majorly discounted!

they start at 4k...BUt i recommend going to a sample sale. Kleinfelds has them often and are heavily discounted. at a trunk show you'll only get 10-15%off. Most of kenneth pool dresses are in the 5-6k range so 15% wont help that much. I dont know exactly how much off its at a sample sale but i know its around 50% or more. A bride on LIW got an AMAZING kenneth pool dress at amsale at a sample sale. She cancelled her wedding and will probably sell it soon so maybe ask her. Originally her dress is 10k, but it was at a sample so she got it for less and who knows what she is willing to sell it for.

Theres also another bride on LIW who bought a kenneth pool dress at the running of the brides last year and its a dress thats over 4k but she got it for about $800-900 but is selling it.

so if you dont mind having a sample then definitely go for it.

like the girls said, i'm sure you can get one highly discounted at a sample sale....i've never been to a sample sale before, though, and i wonder if i'll have the patience for them.

i know one of them (the running of the brides one) was trying for a while to sell it on LIW, so let me see if she sold it or still has it. You might be in luck

the other one, i know she wants to sell it but hasn't gone about doing so yet. Ill fm her and ask if you want.
