Kids at wedding question

Kids at wedding question

I asked a good friend if she would like her 3 year old daughter to be my flower girl when I first got engaged. Right after that, this friend got pregnant and now has an infant. She's also traveling 4 hours to the wedding. I don't see any way out of inviting her infant now as well. If she's allowed to bring her baby, there are 2 other couples who have infants. Do I now have to invite 3 infants?

Any suggestions besides hiring a babysitter? I'm not even sure if these mothers are going to feel comfortable leaving infants with a babysitter.

Did you ask her if her infant is coming along with her to the wedding? Maybe it's just her and the FG??

If she's not comfortable leaving the kids with a babysitter, does she have any friends in the area that are not invited to the wedding?

are you inviting her parents? Maybe they can watch the infant or come with her and stay at the hotel room where your friend will be staying during the wedding with the baby.

Her parents aren't coming. Her husband is coming. I can't really say one kid can come and the other can't, ya know? But I really don't want any infants at the wedding, let along 3.

I'm afraid to ask her. If I tell her my feelings about this, she might be offended that I would even consider asking about this.

You can. I am.

My 8 yr old niece is my flower girl and my 2 yr old niece isn't coming. There are no children at my wedding. The only reason why I'm having my niece as a flower girl is because she acts like shes 47

I have a strict no kids policy. And to be honest, most parents are ok with it. It's a night off

That stinks. I just don't get it sometimes.
