I have to get something off my chest here and get some advice too. First, in my defense, my mom and dad told me to do it. We went to the interview with the priest last night and I lied and said I still live home with my parents. I didnt want any wierd complications with saying we lived together. I know it was wrong, but now its too late. Can I get caught? I am feeling soooo guilty and all my parents do is laugh and say I am being too sensitive. I am so sorry I did it... I am going crazy about it. Im not even a religious person either. Please give me some comforting words or if I am going to get caught.

my mom's cousin is marrying us. He's a Catholic bishop. Guess where he thinks I live?

Yes, we lied too. I didn't think it would make a BIG difference, but yet didn't want to have to explain it all, either. We have FH listed as living with his parents and me at our apartment.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT! They asked em about 5-6 times is I was pregnant , I was getting really mad.

I did the same thing. I told him I was still living at home when I had been living with my DH for a year. After meeting with him a few months, I slipped and said our house and he caught on right away and asked if we were living together. I said yes, I had recently moved in. He didn't really care too much. He just asked how it was living together and what we have learned about each other. Maybe in a few weeks or so tell him that you have moved in together. It is you life, it really doesn't matter what he thinks about it!! But, don't let it get to you. Everyone has secrets!!

We told the truth and we were looked at funny (in precana), meanwhile you know the other couples in precana were doing the wild thing too, just not living together, yet we got the funny look for being honest.

We were not living together yet but a lot of the couples in pre cana were and no one seemed to care. Some couples had children together, the priest was even more thrilled that they were getting married. No big deal either way, its done.

I lied to ours too. We interviewed with him and I said I have my own place and FH lives home with his parents. He didn't care at all.

We did the same thing because we didn't know what to say either. The other day I picked up my FH cell phone ( he was in the shower and told me to or else I would have never done it) and it was our priest looking for FH of course. I freaked it was 8:30 in the morning on a weekday. I just said hello and handed the phone to FH. Our priest is pretty close with us especially my FH. THIS IS WHY WE SHOULDNT LIE!!!! He hasnt said anything about it but Im sure he knows.....
