Kind of not wedding related.

FH and I were talking about having babies today :) I know my biological clock is ticking because everytime I see a baby my heart melts a little and I can't help but think that I can't wait untill we have one of our own. We even have names picked out lol. But we are planing to wait at least one year after we get married so we can have a house and be somewhat settled before the little one arrives. But part of me doesn't want to wait that long. BUt I don't want it to be too much all at once. I was just curious about what you ladies are planning arround baby making.

FH and I are waiting probably until we are 29/30 to start. we only want two kids and id like to have them close in age. right now we are 24 (25 in Oct and Nov) so we have some time!

We plan on starting right away on a baby & getting a house after the wedding. We will be both be 36 by the time we get married & we want atleast two kids so there's no time to waste. It will be alot to deal with all at once but it is something we both want

We are shooting for a honeymoon baby, but our honeymoon won't be until about 6 months after the wedding. I have have started referring to it as the 'baby-making-moon'

we figure we will be 'just us' for a few yrs and then have some kiddies lol; we are both 25 so prob 28, 29ish

It'll probably be a while for us.. I'll be 24 when we get married, so it'll likely be a few years after that when we start.

I know what you mean about that clock!! Everytime I see I baby I want to keep it...lol. We're hoping on a honeymoon baby I'll be 31 two days before we get married and I just don't want to wait.

Married I just feel I don't have that mich time to wait. It doesn't help that I already have 8 nieces and nephews lol

We both want kids but I'm just not ready for them yet. We've seen some of his friends have babies too soon after getting married and we want to make sure we've done all the non-baby things in our life first (traveling, etc).

It also depends on where I am in my career so I'm thinking maybe 3 years?

I'll be 30 and FH 32 come the wedding so we don't want to wait too long to start a family. But we definitely do not want a honeymoon baby. We'd like at least a year of just being us married, and hopefully we can do some traveling!

I feel the same exact way! I am going to be 30 when I get married and i want to have babies like yestarday! We have to wait til we get a house then its babymakin time!!!

I hear you on this! I will be one week shy of 35 when we marry, and FH will be 31. He wants a kid ASAP but I have put a hold on it until we get a house. We have to sell BOTH of our co-op apartments, and the market is AWFULLLL right now.

I figure maybe start trying around our 1 yr anniv as long as we have moved into a house by then.

And btw, it's nice to meet another 'older' bride!
