kinda dumb question about lighting in halls...

Ok..I have been thinking about this and trying to remember weddings I have been too but unfortunatly weddings are a great opportunity for me to drink and thus not much memory of any recent ones....

what is the lighting like inside the reception? I cant believe Im asking this but is it dark? Or dim...or do they keep lights on? I ask so I know about my candle cp's and how they will turn out, but still feel like an idiot that I cant remember this!

I think it depends on the hall, time of year and time of the wedding..I went to a wedding last year at Leonards and it was VERY dim lit. I think mine will have a lot of lighting since my RH is surrounded by windows and i am having a day wedding

The last wedding I was at the lights were dimmed.

You are not dumb for asking this - would you believe I have wondered this as well. Theres another thing we have in common!

I really hope my hall is dim at night too!

I had my reception at the watermill, in the astor room. I don't remember the lights but a nice amount of light was coming though the windows. (it was a day wedding).

I think each reception hall is different, since some have windows and some don't, some weddings are during the day or at night
