I have this bizarre system in place, because if it has to happen, it has to happen, and I don't mind if people hear the sound of piddle, but they CANNOT hear the sound of anything else hitting. I go through great pains to make sure of this. Which is no small feat, considering it's a single bathroom in the hall in front of foot traffic and the walls are paper thin. I've probably clogged the pipes more times than I can count with the amount of paper I put in as a 'cushion' LOL, and probably have done damage to my insides trying to muffle.

i go wherever i have to lol, but i make sure to flush a million times so it doesnt get stinky in there

I do. I am not ashamed either. I just do the whole courtesy flush thing and no one knows.

OMG i am dying over here literally laughing out loud alone in my apartment. FH is going to come and be like w-t-f are you doing??? HAHAHAHA. You guys are SO funny.
Since we're on the topic- if i have to go, i go. I'm all about the courtesy flush!!!!

I started laughing as soon as I read this post. Well, since we're on the topic, in all honesty.... I have performance anxiety when it comes to using the bathroom (not to pee) if I'm not home FH says I'm crazy....

My toosh isnt spoile but I have a phobia to sit on public toliets - i dont thanks to my mother - so if I were to use a public bathroom I have to put all this paper around the seat.. so much effort, its just easier to hold it! I know Im a nut job

step #1 admit that you have a problem --- you are way ahead of this step not only have you identified your problem but you know who to blame , good old mama lol

Step #2: face your fears!!! baby steps try going to the bathroom in very clean public toilet like Bloomingdales or Nordstrom see how it feels , cmon I know you can do it!!!!

Step #3 repeat step 2 until its no big deal, practice what you learned from bloomies and go to the bathroom in target or Wal-Mart



step 4 now that you have conquered your fear help thousand others that once feared toilets

With or Without the cover its a no way. Bloomie Nordstroms or not NO WAY! I dont cover I dont cover & hover I just dont go in public bathrooms. I know i have OCD i cant do it. Now at work its kind of the same & thankfully my work is 3 minutes from my beach home. Thats where i go when needed. However, i do not care what anyone else decideds to do at teh office. I mean guys dont have these probs they go wherever they want & need to. Why do we girls care so much??? I dont think anyone would think differently if you do use the b.r at work i mean your human.

I try to hold it until I get home unless its an extreme emergency then I make sure that the bathroom is all clear (not easy beacuse there are like 5 stalls) and then go .. TMI? LOL

I have intestinal issues so when I gotta go there is no holding it. I don't care where I am. I find the nearest restroom and toilet doily(sp) the seat and go!!!

I would only do it if I REALLY needed to. I have done it...but like I said, there was no choice in the matter
