i picked december 5th bc i LOVE christmas season and my mom raved about how beautiful fox hollow looked last year during christmas! i also wanted a saturday night and i didnt want it too far into december.

I picked 3/14 because I'm a math teacher and 3/14 is Pi Day. Remember when you did area of a circle and learned about the greek letter pi? The digits never end but we use it as 3.14 and it's celebrated in schools by all of us dorky math teachers :)

Ha I love that! I am a math teacher too...that thought never even crossed my mind!
We chose August 13, because it is an exact year from the date we got engaged this past summer! So the date will always be special for a few reasons! And now we don't have a million dates to remember!

well FH told me we had to wait til 09, and i wanted to get married in the summer...8.22 is simply the first weekend that i will be the next year older, and that made me feel better---

We knew that we wanted to get married in a cooler month because FH was in a wedding in July and it was a major heat wave everyone was soaked. He didn't want every one to sweat. I thought the spring of '09 was to quick so we went for October. We then had to work around the Jewish calender so here we are 10/17/09.

Halloween is our favorite and our dating anniversary is October 30th but I wanted a Saturday wedding so the 31st it is!

I wanted to get married on October 10th because it is my parents anniversary but I was open to the date b/c most of the RH i looked at didnt have that date.. finally we went a looked at larkfield and we both loved it immediately, as soon as she started telling us what fall dates they had opened we knew.. she said September 26th and we were both like.. Thats it! The date sounded so familiar to both of us but we didnt know why so we figured it was just meant to be!

The date we wanted was taken. I'll tell you about the day I originally wanted though.
It has become a thing for us to celebrate one day after. It has always been weird thing with the number 1, even with our birthdays! We are one year, one month, and one day apart in age. We tend to not be able to celebrate events until the next day. We got engaged 1 day after being together 10 years and wanted to get married. We scheduled our e-pics one day after being engaged one year (it was not planned that way but it was the only day I had off in the month!) And it goes on and on. Our original wedding date was when we met 12 years and one day! But it was taken so we picked a date with no meaning at all to us.

We wanted Spring... Our original date was May 9th, but since soo many other weddings are going on in the family, we decided to move it back a month. Not 100% what we wanted right off the bat, but now we both love it!!

FH's favorite number is 7...so I was going to get a date with a 7 in it. I wanted January 17th but it wasn't available...so I took the 16th! I wanted a winter wedding too!

We knew we wanted an off peak month due to cost. Other than that we were flexible. We sat down with the people at Fox Hollow and asked what they had closer to spring on a friday night. Friday the 13th was available in March so we took it.

My date was chosen because my great grandparents whom had the most amazing marriage and love that I have EVER KNOWN were married on the same day in 1927....it was a way for me to honor them...

We are doing 11/21/09...I always wanted a fall wedding and in November. We are doing the weekend before Thanksgiving so that we won't have to take too many days off from work. Originally I wanted the Friday after Thanksgiving but then FH said that it would be better to do the weekend before since there will be less days that we would have to take off from work since we are both teachers.

I wanted nice weather but wanted to avoid the high prices of the summer. We also wanted to do it on a Sunday for price reasons, but a lot of FH's fam is from OOT. So we picked the Sunday of Labor Day weekend so everyone has that Monday to travel. Also, the date is kind of unique: 9.6.09

I never really cared when we got married. First I was thinking september. Then it was november, then the RH told me the price for Feb and that was it!!
