i picked december 5th bc i LOVE christmas season and my mom raved about how beautiful fox hollow looked last year during christmas! i also wanted a saturday night and i didnt want it too far into december.

i really wanted a spring wedding, late may/early june- everything was booked up though. so we took whatever was available around that time. at least it's still in june!

FH and I HATE the typical wedding so we really wanted to be totally different and fun. We figured everyone and their mother has been to a regular wedding so why not give ourselves and our guests something different....so we are really embracing the halloween theme and making it as much fun as possible
oh and I would kill someone if I got married in hot humid weather...I am just not a summer girl....I love the fall and I think it is perfect weather...no sweating!!! LOL

I always wanted a sunset fall wedding. I always thought I would do it in September, but my younger sister is getting married in May and I didn't want to encroach into 'her time'.
when i started looking @ places and time for ceremonies, I realized that I would have to do it early October for sunset and mild temperatures. And I had to make sure it didn't fall on signification Jewish holidays.
So, no significance to the date. it was just convenient.

we decided to get married in august bc we wanted a summer wedding, but 08 was too close, FH said i have to wait at least a year after we got engaged (12/07) and i wanted to be 23....so we chose the first saturday after my 23rd birthday, 8/22!

I wanted summer but knew we couldnt afford it so we were going to pick early september. And I graduate in August of next year. So we picked 09-05-09 and then our hall opened up two dates in Aug for the sept price and I thought why wait! I didn't want the date so close to graduation so I picked the later date 08-29-09

i REALLY wanted a fall wedding, and didnt want a winter wedding....fall was too expeinsve , so that left summer or spring, im not crazy about the summer because of he heat, but i picked it because it gave us more time to save up $$$$$....and i picked july 26 because its 4 days after my bday

originally i wanted a fall wedding but didn't want to have to wait so long! so we said may/june is nice and when we visited the RHs we just said 'what saturday afternoons in may/june are available?' and that's how we set our date!

I picked Oct 9 because ive been to many weddings in october n the atmospher is just great! the leaves start changes and its the perfect temp ( for the most part) I didnt want to do the end of october b/c i didnt want it to be next to halloween.. SO yeah thats how we came up w/the 9th.

We picked the summer because we always wanted to get married when it is warm. 08/23 was picked because later than that a lot of the jewish high holy days begin and before 08/23 there is the bar exam. And hopefully the weather next August will be as good as it is this year.

We picked our date 9/20/09 b/c I like the month and the year to be the same whether 8/?/08 or 10/?/10. BUT our 10 yr anniversary is on November 20th so the 9/20/09 date was perfect!

May 16 is our wedding date... May 13th is FH's birthday, May 19th is our anniversary. so our wedding is 3 days after his birthday and 3 days before our 3 year anniversary. love 3's!!!

I picked 3/14 because I'm a math teacher and 3/14 is Pi Day. Remember when you did area of a circle and learned about the greek letter pi? The digits never end but we use it as 3.14 and it's celebrated in schools by all of us dorky math teachers :)
