Re: KInda stupid question about Macy's registry
Nope
You can walk right in and they'll set you up with a scanner and give you the tour, if you want it.

LOL I just started working part time at the Macy's registry department. They are actually there to walk you through but they'll gauge whether or not you want to be 'accompanied'. If you feel comfortable, you could just tell the registry consultant that you want to walk through by yourself.
Have fun!

I'm so used to shopping alone which i totally prefer that i would feel weird with someone helping me.. lol. No offense to anyone that likes that just not my thing

Re: KInda stupid question about Macy's registry
I will warn you though - I registered online too and I just went yesterday to scan a few things. I had to sit with the saleswoman while she went through her whole spiel on the credit card and the bonus things you get and blah blah blah. I mean she was very nice, but I told FH we'd be in there 5 mins and it took almost 45!We did get a cute tote bag out of it though.

Re: KInda stupid question about Macy's registry
I would say if you are going to the one in Bay Shore, call first. Everytime I have gone in there, the registry person isn't there and no one else seems to know where the scanners are.Welcome New Vendors
