Kings Point USMMA

Has anyone been to a reception at Kings Point Melville Hall? I am wondering if the dance floor or area for a band to set up is too small based on the floor plan? Any other feedback is much appreciated, we are considering it for the reception.

Re: Kings Point USMMA

I know I already replied to you via FM but I figured it would be nice for someone to respond to your post too.

It is hard to find information on Kings Point because not alot of people are eligible to get married there and they are not allowed to advertise.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Re: Kings Point USMMA

Hey Kittyg,

I responded to your last post about USMMA. My suggestion to you, or any other bride is to check these places out in person, if it's at all possible. I tend to find that websites don't do the facilities justice, and only then will you be able to see if it really 'feels' like you.

I will just add, because it does relate to your post, that I was worried that the dance floor and band space at the Woodlands was too small (and it is smaller than many places) but it worked out perfectly--and our crowd was lively. People will dance on the carpet if they feel compelled to. HTHs!

Re: Kings Point USMMA

I'm getting married at King's Point in June. I think it is a really unique venue, and obviously you must have some connection to it if you are getting married there. We just selected our menu, and I am confident everything is going to be great! If you have any other questions, you can FM me. We are having a fairly big wedding for the room. Of course, I will know even more in June.
