Kitchen-Aid or Cuisinart blender?

So it is time to update my registry and I am wondering what blender everyone recommends.

Should I move this to the home or recipe boards?

Re: Kitchen-Aid or Cuisinart blender?

I have a cuisinart. I have problems when I mix drinks in it. It gets these little air pockets...after a while I have to stop it, take a spoon and mix the stuff and get rid of the air pockets and then restart it.

I don't know if anybody has this problem with the other brands.

Re: Kitchen-Aid or Cuisinart blender?

blender or food processor? or are they the same thing...

my FH is the cook and i got him the kitchen-aid food processor a couple christmas' ago. i did some research on consumer reports, and at that given time kitchen-aid gave more 'bang for the buck' vs. the cuisinart.

FH loooooooooooves his food processor

Re: Kitchen-Aid or Cuisinart blender?

I guess we should register for the Kitchen-Aid stand mixer AND the blender. I don't think we are going to get a food processor. FH would rather get attachments for the mixer.

I LOVE my stand mixer too. I don't know what I would do without it.

Re: Kitchen-Aid or Cuisinart blender?

I am SO excited about the stand mixer. I know a few people who have it and everyone LOVES it. I feel like I should bow in front of it when I see it

FH and I had to battle it out to decide what color mixer because we BOTH want it.
