Ok, I'm a moron but where are they? The city right? I wasn't going to go but my BF/MOH is coming up from FL in Dec and wants to go dress shopping with me because she feels left out so I have been thinking about setting up an appointment to go. Which did you think was the better overall experience and do I have to have an idea of what I want because I am clueless and at this point I am going naked as are my girls.

Re: Kleinfeld and Lilettes
I haven't been to Lillette's but usually hear good things about them.
I got my dress from Kleinfeld & I had the most wonderful experience there! Everyone is soo friendly and not push at all, as some may assume they are b/c they're on TV and so popular, etc etc. But I didn't feel rushed or pressured AT ALL. They give you an hour and half appt. but my consultant, Jessica, stayed with me even longer. It's huge inside and the dress possiblities are eeeendless.
GL!!! I hope you find something you love!
ETA: And yes, Kleinfeld is in Manhattan & Lilette's is moving to Bellmore in Nassau County.

Re: Kleinfeld and Lilettes
I hear really great things about Lillette's. I had my Kleinfeld appt the week before my Lillette's appt...I ended up getting my dress at Kleinfeld so I never got a chance to go to Lillette's. I had a great experience at Kleinfeld. My consultant, Sarah, was so patient. I never felt rushed or pushed to buy anything. She ended up picking my dress for me - something I never would have picked for myself and I love it!

Re: Kleinfeld and Lilettes
If you want to make it a girl's day def go to Kleinfeld! I too, got my dress there and had a great experience, first dress I put on. And the price was actually cheaper than what I quoted online - not jacked up at all. It's 1.5 hour appt and a really fun atmosphere. Go to lunch in the city afterwards! Watch Say Yes to the Dress on TLC (Fri at 9), and get an idea of the selection - it is endless and the people there are really knowledgable! I'm sure Lilette's is also great, I haven't been, but you could do that anytime....
