Thanks! The lady took my cc number and explained to me that I need to cancel 48 hrs in advance otherwise they'll charge me. I booked because I want the experience and I want to try on more dresses...but I don't want to feel bad about being poor or hear that I wasted the lady's time!!!

Well...if I find something I absolutely love..maybe I'll pick it up

sigh

Well the lady who helped me never asked what my budget was, never pressured me or was snotty at all...she was seriously the nicest lady and was trying to get me to spend less infact lol.

I have a ?? When you buy your dress and start to go for fitting do you have to give them your CC info again also?

You can pay how you want after that

I mean like when you call to make your appointments.

Ok this is what happens...after you buy your dress you sign like 10 papers...on one of the sheets they tell you that if you want to use that same cc throughout the whole process and every payment will be off that credit card then you sign this one line and they can charge that one card...if not then dont sign it and yes theyll ask you again for your info

Yea girls you sign this whole load of paper work when you purchase your dress which is when you give them your billing information. They want a certain amount down before you purchase the dress and then the rest of the information you will fill out.

I didnt sign that line though to charge me everytime...the girl told me to sign there for cc info, i asked her what that meant and thats when she told me oh this is if you want us to bill you on that cc each time, glad i asked lol.

I said i dont want to use the same CC all the time, well actually i want to pay cash so thats why. So you can leave that one part blank, but yeah you still have a bunch of other papers to sign too, its so funny.

and yeah if you buy a dress the ask for 60% deposit

My sil bought her gown from them for her 2004 wedding. It was there private label the 'daina' collection and I think it was only $1300. It was a gorgeous gown!!!! I don't know if that quote included that collection. It has been 3 years so they could have gone up in price. HTH

LOL i think i kicked everyone out so i can do all the paperwork and concentrate.

Yeah the girl who came in just to give us the papers to sign didnt tell me what that meant, i am glad i asked her bc they would've automatically charged my card, which was a debit card and i would've flipped...make sure they explained that to your mother correctly, and if she wants to change that tell her to call and change it. The girl infact didnt know and i asked Elise the manager what they meant by that one line and why i had to leave a cc on those forms.

Yea now that i think about it your right. The only reason my mom knew what they meant was because my sister bought her dress there a year before, but when we went with my sis my mom was unsure too!!!!

Re: Kleinfeld Question

So ok....you go and decide on a dress...is there any play in their prices....can you still negotiate from the sticker there....because I know a place out here that will give me 20% off the manufacturer's suggested retail....

Re: Kleinfeld Question

I went on a Sunday and had to sign up to try on, and wait for about 45 min.... but Had my own personal attendant and fitting room, and it was very organized operation, but yeah I’d definitely recommend going during the weekday if possible…

Re: Kleinfeld Question

I've been to RK Bridal twice and had a great time during both of my visits. It was just a little hectic and they didn't have many dresses that fit what I was looking for. There were a few there, though, that I really liked and I may go back again.
