Kleinfeld's trunk shows

What are the benefits? You get a discount? Sorry - I dont understand how this works as opposed to just buying your dress there - its my understanding they always offer about 12-15% off, so whats with the trunk shows? Any info?

They don't always offer a discount. At the trunk show if you purchase that designers dress you get 12.5% off. But lets say you go the same day of a trunk show and its a Reem acra trunk show just as an example, but you buy another designer you don't get the 12.5% discount. SOMETIMES they will offer some ppl discounts but mostly if you try to negotiate but not something they will just do. They definitely dont offer that discount to everyone buying a dress period

Exactly.
you basically get 12.5% off whatever designer is having the trunk show plus all accessories, veils, shalls you buy that day. :)

yeah my dad asked and when i went it was a reem acra trunk show but i bought a kenneth pool. When my dad asked they said yes to a 12.5% discount even though it wasnt reem acra

Thanks everyone! That is interesting - I've been with 3 friends on separate occasions at Kleinfelds and each of them were offered that 12.5% discount for no particular reason, meaning it wasn't a trunk show or anything. I thought maybe that was their schtick to get people to buy there.

yeah they do offer it to alot of ppl, but i know not everybody has gotten one. What happens is that every weekend there is a trunk show at kleinfelds and many times they'll still offer it to you even though you buy a different designer but not like its a mandatory thing there where you get a discount no matter what. Alot do but not all and remember also that not every bridal store will do this, so when other places have trunk shows they wont necessarily offer a discount when you buy a different designer

no they start at $1800. Alot of designers start at 3k so depending on which designer, if you ask for those they will be $3k and higher. But ive seen girls get dresses for $2k-2500 at kleinfelds.

Also on their site theres a q&a section and it says all dresses start at $1800
