Did everyone hear on the news that Kleinfeld's is moving from Brooklyn to Manhattan (20th and 6th) i am kind of upset b/c it is a further ride for me now!!!! i hear it is happening in June!

My FH told me yesterday morning that he heard about it...Actually he had no clue that it was called Kleinfeld's....but I was able to figure it out. He said that they were giving away the dresses in the store to prepare for the move, but I doubt that one. Any one hear that?

I am hoping that they will have some sort of sample sale including accessories. I work in Brooklyn so I would jet on over. I think its a good move for them. The salon is known all over the world and we take it for granted that it is in our backyard. Truth be told, people from all over would probably rather travel to Manhattan than Brooklyn. Just easier to access.

That is great news for me, I ordered my dress from them and I live on the East side in the 30's. This will make my alterations so much easier!

i just read this about 20 minutes ago while waiting for fh's truck to be inspected!!!! i am sure its a great move for the store, but it is going to s*ck for those of us on LI who need alterations. I totally wouldve tried to find my dress somewhere else had I known they were moving to the city. just a PIA to treck in there for fittings
