Ok so I know you need to leave a 60% deposit when you buy a dress. But is it 60% of the dress itself or 60% of the dress and alterations?

I believe it is the dress itself. Alterations are a separate cost (because you may choose to go to another person to alter the dress).

I'm not sure. I am doing their alterations. If you choose to do their alterations when you buy the dress, then its cheaper than if you were to decide after you get the dress.
