Kleinfelds vs Bridal Reflections

Hi,

I found theperfect dress at Bridal reflections and it is $$$. Shoudl I try Kleifelds to see if they will do better? Bridal Reflections did come down about $400? Anyone have any experience with negoitiating with them?

I negotiated with BR!! Keep it up! Keep asking for lower prices- what ever # they come at you with, ask for a lower number, ask them to double check with the manager. They'll come down. Good Luck!!

I did go to both Bridal Reflections and Kleinfeld. I wound up buying my dress at Kleinfeld. They were having a trunk show for another designer and gave me the same discount on my amalia. To start the dress was cheaper than BR by $200, but with the discount I paid 700 less than BR.

I got the better deal at Kleinfeld, and the best seamstress and treatment on God's green earth!

How much were you able to get BR to come down? They wanted $1095 for the dress I wanted and found it on bridesave.com for $825 (plus and extra 10% off if I order this month). I am a horrible negotiator though!!! BTW - I got engaged at WDW too!!! I can't figure out how to put the picture in my profile!

It was my experience that Kleinfeld prices were higher than my bridal salon, but I never went to BR so I don't anything about their prices on wedding gowns. I found them willing to come down pretty easily on the BM dresses though. I would make the trip to Kleinfeld, it couldn't hurt and at least this way you will be certain you are getting the best price. If you tell them what BR is willing to give you they may beat it. And if they do beat it, I would go back to BR and tell them what Kleinfeld is giving you. lol.

My sister used Bridal Reflections, Massapequa, NY. I would not use them. They were horrible. The seamstress for the brides is awful. She had a very bad experience!!

I found Kleinfelds to be more money by 300-1000 dollars more than both Saks and Bridal Reflections.

I will say that Kleinfelds was QUICK to try and match (and add 5% more off) the quote saks gave me - but the experience I had there could not convince me to buy there no matter what the cost.

I only went to Bridal Reflection in Massapequa because they were one of the few Christos dealers and I didn't want the trek to Brooklyn for Kleinfeld's. They took $400 off the price because I said I knew someone who saw the same dress at Kleinfeld's for less. The person who helped me the first time I went in was a doll and she was there when I ordered my dress, but someone helped me who was not as she as nice. The first person finished my order though and she was the one who signed by 'congrats on choosing your wedding gown' card that I received. Her name was Laura and I highly recommend her.

I went to both places and loved them both. (Kelly at BR and Nanette at Kleinfeld were both AWESOME!)
I bought my dress at Kleinfeld bc it was MUCH cheaper, although I didn't try to talk them down at BR. I got my BM dresses at BR and she gave me 10% off all the dresses bc my MOH got her wedding gown there. Both places have amazing seamstresses and great reputations-you'll be fine at either!

I had a terrible experience at BR in carle Place...I would suggest you try Kleinfields I've heard nothing but good stories from them, even though you may pay a little more, the exceptional service and hassle free porblmes will be worht it!!!

One thing I would look for - some designers make their dresses in two different materials (a cheaper and more expensive) Some of the dresses I tried on at Saks were the better quality material than at Kleinfelds and Kleinfelds was charging 300$ or more money for the dress. So make sure if it is cheaper it is the identical dress in all ways

I found my dress at BR in carle place. Adriennes in islip gave me a much better deal on both the dress and the alterations. They did not have my dress in the store but were able to order it for me, I highly recommend them.
