Kleinfelds...not all its cracked up to be

So this experience happened a while ago but I figured I would save some of my LI girls the hassel of trecking to the city.

I went to Kleinfeld's in NYC back in June. I made my appointment way ahead of time for an early Sunday morning. Was extremely excited at this point...until I got there.

My mom, my 2 maids of honor, future sister in law and bridesmaid got up VERY early...caught a train (which all us LI residence know is not cheap)and arrived early at Kleinfelds.

The woman helping me, Rita, introduced herself to me and was very nice to me BUT was very snippy to my girls and my mom (the woman paying for the dress)

PLUS, you expect to go to Kleinfelds and try on A TON of dresses...Rita pulled 2 dresses for me to try on and wanted me to make a decision...

Rita THEN got mad when my girls tried to suggest other dresses for me to try on then ended our appointment by stating 'I spent too long with you...I can't help you any more.' (We were there not even an hour)

SO GIRLS...if you had a good experience there GOOD FOR YOU but HOLY CRAP was that a waste of my time for me and those close to me.

It really sucks that you had a bad experience because I had an amazing Kleinfelds experience just this past Friday. My sales associate was Camille (she's on the show) and she was fantastic, helpful, sweet, all of the above. It was an incredibly memorable experience and i'm SO glad I trekked into the city for it. I had been to other bridal salons on the island and wasn't thrilled with the service or selection.

I tried on around 10 dresses, was measured by the designer herself and every single person my group interacted with was helpful, attentive and sweet. I was pleasantly surprised, they all made me feel like we were the only group in the store.

Maybe you should call Kleinfelds customer service and file a formal complaint. it could be that she was just having a bad day but there are no excuses for poor attitudes like that. Perhaps they'll try to redeem themselves.

I heard such mixed things about Kleinfelds....i'm going to make an apt because my mom wants to go...but i honestly dont expect to find my dress there.

Out dress for under 3k well I got a gorgeous private label with cathedral train and bling for under 2 lol

The more I think about it, the more I think my consultant was the thing that ruined it for me! WHICH SUCKS you expect to really get your times worth and have fun but OH WELL!

I'm glad your experience was better than mine! And you got to meet a celeb! YAY!
