I think I had to give my credit card number when I made the appointment just to hold the reservation (probably to avoid cancellations). I can't remember if it was Kleinfelds or Pronovias that made me do that.

No deposit for an appointment,,,I personally didn't have a good consultant at Kleinfelds so hopefully you will have a better experience...

They don't charge but they do ask you for you CC information. If you don't show to your appt or don't call to cancel within 48 hours of your appt you will be charged $50. They do this to avoid no shows and wasted time slots that other brides could have used.
