Hey Karen!
I know your daughter played a big roll in your wedding, I was just wondering if your officiant mentioned her in the ceremony, and if so, what did he/she say about her?
I'd love for Maiah to be mentioned but I have yet to hear a ceremony mentioning children the couple already has together (usually, if children are mentioned, they are from a prior marriage.)

Also, was her name on your invites? I had a friend who did this but it just seemed so wordy.

Sorry, Ive been busy, Emma turned 2 on Saturday and Ive had a busy weekend.

Yes, Emma was included in the ceremony. My mother held her as she lit the unity candle and gave it to me. It was the joining of the 3 of us, not just Derek and I. Other than that she wasnt included.

No, she wasnt mentioned exactly on our invites but yes, she was in the picture on the invite. I also had a friend who included their children on an invite and I wasnt a big fan of that either.
