LA Fitness
I'm thinking about joining the one in Levittown. Looks like they have a good variety of classes. Initiation is $99 and monthly dues are $39. Just want to make sure it's worth it before I commit. Any feedback- positive or negative?

if u can get there Lucille Roberts is easy way cheaper..... the hrs suck if u ask me though I had to cancel bc I was never able to get there!

At Lucille? Their location on Sunrise is the closest for me and it always takes forever to get there

yea I think my friend just joined for like $10 a month....I want to go back do bad but I can't even make the hours on the weekend! they need to open a 24 hr one!!why does it take u forever to.get there? there is 2 on sunrise Bayshore abd Massapequa which do u mean?

I'm in Levittown. Sunrise highway always has SO much traffic!

I go there! The classes are pretty good but sometimes the gym is not as clean as it shoul be. It's between work and home so that location works out perfect for me.

I go to LA Fitness in Lake Success and I love it. I used to go to Lucille Roberts in Bayside but I love LA Fitness much better. They have better classes and their hours are better then Lucille Roberts.

I mean its decent clean but I've seen better. There are some great yoga classes, kickboxing, step sculpt, and body works plus abs are awesome too, great sweat!

I love LA Fitness. The gym not the company. Make sure you look at everything you sign! We signed up for a trainer the same night as the gym and cancelled after one session. When we signed up they said it was no obligation you can quit whenever you want. They ended up charging us for 14 sessions. Wouldn't refund us. Horrible customer service I literally had to track the manager down. The facility is amazing. Just be careful they are very pushy and apparently scam people during enrollment.

And I never got my money back even though I went all the way to corporate and was told I was correct. They said because I signed a contract (which I apparently signed on one of those pin pads without seeing what I was signing for) there was nothing they could do. Ugh! Sorry. Just not a fan.
