No I didn't but I guess its a different situation, I told the guy it wasn't worth it for me to pay an initiation fee since I am changing jobs to another state anytime soon (its true) and I will be wasting that money, so he didn't charge me the initiation fee. You can try telling the same to avoid paying the fee, hehe.
