my shower is labor day weekend and flights are soo expensive. around $350! that's so much $$ to spend right before the wedding

I live in Chicago and normally fly Southwest to Islip. I have a wedding on 9/4 on LI and couldn't find reasonable rates. I ended up booking a flight on ATA to LGA for $180 RT.

I remember hearing Jetblue, Southwest and I think america west, and song are all starting to lower their prices. Did you check all them? It is also a holiday weekend so the prices are jacked up!! I hope you find a cheap flight!!

MrsBrad, I'm also flying to NY that weekend. Jetblue is having a $99 sale. The sales dates don't start until Tuesday 9/7, but if you can fly back early that morning it will only cost $99. That's what I'm doing.

jetblue is super expensive, i would fly in that day but i can only take off one day and I need to take of that Friday because my appt with the North Ritz is then! oi
