Ladies I need your help!

Ladies I need your help!

I am trying to decide if I should spend $210 on a pair of shoes that I love, or try to save some cash by 'recreating' them with a less expensive shoe/brooch combo.

Pic 1 is the shoe I really LOVE $210

Pic 2 is less expensive pair that I COULD love- do you think it would look nice with a brooch on the front?

Pic 3 is another pair. what do you think?

pic 4 is a totally different pair that I really like too...but I just can't get my mind off of the first pair!

I love 3 & 4. I wouldn't spend that much on shoes. You are only going to wear them once, most likely

I love the first pair too, Where are they from? I do think $210 is a lot to spend on shoes you will probably only wear that day. I totally think you can recreate them, or find something similar. What color are they?

Love #1 - do I honestly think the $210 is worth it - if you really love it, then yes, get them, you can always dye them and wear them again (or maybe not)

On the other side - I LOVE number 2!!!!!!!!!!

They're all beautiful, Jess!! I know that's the problem tho. I think of it this way with shoes, it's going to be under your dress the whole time and no one is really even going to see them. So, I couldn't justify spending $210 to be honest. The other 3 are just as lovely and if they don't break the bank then I say you can't go wrong with any of those. HTH!!

Jess... I love #4 and those are the ones I am looking into it and if they were $210 I would strongly consider it... So with that said, I would say if you love #1 then go for it. You are going to be paying like $100 for shoes anyway, so what's another $100 in the grand scheme of how much a wedding costs... It's your day and it should be with no regrets!

I see what you mean Jess...I mean maybe its a psychological thing (us ladies seem to think that more $$=better) but I really like #1 as well and envision it with your dress...#4 are fabulous also but I think wearing them throughout the entire day might kill your feet.

I LOVE the 1st ones. Someone posted them a few weeks ago and I loved them until I realized they wre $200+! I'm gonna keep looking, although if you love them I think they are worth it.

My second choice would be #3 - simple yet elegent. Love the little rhinestoned section.

Good Point.

I haven't looked for shoes, however, I don't care HOW much they are. I need comfy shoes for my tired feet!

I love four, but if you LOOOVE #1, I'd just GO for it.

If those are the shoes that you really love I would spend the $210, but IMO I really like #4.

I love #4, but if you really love #1 - splurge...it's the one day you can justify buying expensive shoes for (jmo). good luck!

Personally, I would not spend $200 on shoes. I love shoes, but really I am looking more for comfort than pizazz. I think no one really sees your shoes since you are wearing a long dress.

my question is this...in pics 2 and 3, DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD WORK WITH A BROOCH TOO.

WOULD THEY BE A SUITABLE CHEAPER REPLACEMENT FOR PIC 1.

I do also love #4, they are so different from #1 (but I posted about my nuttiness with them last week- shoe design matching neckline!)

by they way, I tried pic 4 on and they were pretty comfy.

Re: Ladies I need your help!

They are BEAUTIFUL...however, not that I wouldn't spend $210 on shoes...I've been tempted and have bought - but these are wedding shoes...the odds of you wearing them once your wedding is over - slim to none...and no one is really going to see them under your dress...a friend of mine bought Manolo's for her recent wedding and she had slippers on once the first dance was over...I didn't realize this until watching the video last week if these were shoes that you could get more use out of - I say go for it...but I think you could easily get away with making your own version or finding something else - LOVE # 4...
