I am trying to decide if I should spend $210 on a pair of shoes that I love, or try to save some cash by 'recreating' them with a less expensive shoe/brooch combo.
Pic 1 is the shoe I really LOVE $210
Pic 2 is less expensive pair that I COULD love- do you think it would look nice with a brooch on the front?
Pic 3 is another pair. what do you think?
pic 4 is a totally different pair that I really like too...but I just can't get my mind off of the first pair!

Jess-it's shoes. Come on. Any of those shoes would be great. They are all beautiful. Go with the most comfortable. Your shoes will not be the focal point of your outfit or the day. Spend the money on your honeymoon.
I know I sound harsh, but you are going to be screaming for comfortable shoes 3 hours into your day.

Personally, I would not spend $200 on shoes. I love shoes, but really I am looking more for comfort than pizazz. I think no one really sees your shoes since you are wearing a long dress.

I think it's 3 inches or so. they are perfect for you! RK had them for $106- the cheapest I've seen so far.

Spend the money.. It is your wedding day.. you are worth it!!!!! Cut your budget somewhere else to make up for it..
I was in a similar situation this past weekend and wound up buying a pair of $200 shoes....I say GO FOR IT!!!

I think both #3 and 4 would look nice with a brooch. I think a while back I sent you some links with different shoe jewelry.
I also saw #4 on ebay recently for like $75!

If you can't get your mind off the first pair, then go for it. I'm spending about that much on my shoes, and they are plain white satin pumps. The expense is because they are ballroom dancing shoes with TONS of extra cushion everywhere. Soooooooo comfy!!

How much extra $$ would you spend on brooches or jewelry for your shoes? Once you add it up, are you getting right back to the $210 mark? Also will adding the extra jewelry make the shoes less comfortable?
I spend rediculous amounts of $$ on shoes...Most days they are the most expensive part of my outfit. $210 is a lot, but I haven't started looking for shoes yet, so I have no idea how much I'll spend.
