Does this veil look ivory to you? I think it looks super white, i contacted the seller and she said that the mantilla veils are only available in ivory... I need an ivory veil.
What do you think? Should I buy it and hope it looks darker in person? Or do you think she's full of it and the veil is white?

It's hard to tell white from ivory sometimes unless you put them next to each other. Can the vendor send you a swatch?

Looks white to me but I am not really sure about the differences between ivory and white when it comes to veils and things like that...sorry

I've heard that ivory photographs white - girls who are afraid of ivory dresses because they think they're too yellow are always told that.
Can you return the veil if it's not as promised?

I don't think so. I'm gonna see if maybe I can get a swatch, but it's from an Ebay Store not a regular store so I'm not sure if they do that.

it's really hard to tell....is your dress a really ivory-ivory, or is it one that looks whiter? really tough to judge....

If you can...get a swatch, if not...keep looking. It will save you the trouble on a return (which the ebay seller might not do). Sorry.........
But...contact the seller first and ask about returns.

What if you ask the vendor to send you a pic of the ACTUAL veil with a piece of white computer paper? Maybe that will help you see the contrast

Have you tried to find this veil in stores so that you can see the actual color. Ivory to white is really hard to determine in a picture.

Kerri It may be a shade of ivory but I wouldnt chance it if you cant send it back if you dont like it

I searched other ivory veils on Ebay and they all seem to photograph like their white.
I had accidentally bought a diamond white veil on ebay because at the time I didnt know it was an off-white color but in the picture it looked white so I thought it as all the same. When I got the veil in, I could def. see the yellowish tint to it. So I had to make sure just to buy a 'white' veil.
If the seller has a very high rating, I dont think they would be lying about the color.

I noticed that too! I also saw that a few sellers don't show the veil in ivory... they show it in white and say that the veil you are purchasing will be ivory. This is all so confusing. I wish I could go and buy one in a store... but the ones I liked were hundreds of dollars. The ones I like on Ebay are less than $50 can you believe it?!
