Ladies I need your opinions please*w/POLL*

i bought this one a few days ago 'just in case' b/c after shipping it was only $10 and it looks white too even though it said ivory.

I searched other ivory veils on Ebay and they all seem to photograph like their white.



I had accidentally bought a diamond white veil on ebay because at the time I didnt know it was an off-white color but in the picture it looked white so I thought it as all the same. When I got the veil in, I could def. see the yellowish tint to it. So I had to make sure just to buy a 'white' veil.

If the seller has a very high rating, I dont think they would be lying about the color.

I noticed that too! I also saw that a few sellers don't show the veil in ivory... they show it in white and say that the veil you are purchasing will be ivory.
This is all so confusing. I wish I could go and buy one in a store... but the ones I liked were hundreds of dollars. The ones I like on Ebay are less than $50 can you believe it?!

yea i bought mine on ebay for $30...i couldnt see myself spending alot of $$ for something im only wearing for the ceremony

07er here...Depends on how dark the ivory on your dress is. My veil was definitely ivory, but in person it didn't look super dark ivory to me. However, it matched the not-super-ivory-looking lace and beadwork on my dress perfectly.

It's hard to tell white from ivory sometimes unless you put them next to each other. Can the vendor send you a swatch?

yea sometimes it's hard to tell, especially from a pic. My dress is Ivory but we had to look at the tags to check the color before ordering it bc it looks more like a diamond white. I think it also depends on the exact material its made of.

I'm going against the grain here: If you look at the lace of the veil, directly next to the bodice of the dress: it doesn't look white at all.

yea the first picture the lace definitely looks ivory. not so much in the pics from the back though...

maybe I'll see if I can have one made for a reasonable price.

someone told me last week that you can 'dye' a white veil with tea to make it ivory...
have any of you heard of doing this? have experience doing it?

i bought my veil through them and i ordered ivory..it was white

but thank god cause when my dress came in that they called ivory..its white..so it worked out for me

but the quality is really good if that matters at all

Well that might explain why she told me that she only sells ivory mantilla veils but I just found one listed as WHITE under her name and it's the exact same picture as the one i posted.

I'm glad the quality is good, but since I just realized she lied to me I won't be ordering from her.
