What are some of the items you put in your ladies room basket. I just tried putting together one and it looks awfully bare.

Rubber bands. I was at a wedding recently, dancing up a storm, and was never so happy to see a pony-tail holder in my life!

Thanks for all the great ideas. I hadn't even thought of putting a basket in the mens room.

Re: Ladies Room Basket
Ladies please make sure your hall doesnt set these up already. When I went for my menu planning at Fox Hollow they told me they place baskets in the bathrooms so I dont have to order anything..I love the Scotto Brothers!

Hi NYCShari! My florist told me to buy the stuff for the basket and he will put it together and make it look nice. Perhaps your people can do the same! By the way, nice shower! Novembergirl

How much does a florist charge for that though? All you need is a white basket, I found one at a thrift shop that has lace glued along the sides and it didnt cost me anything, just a thought.

Re: Ladies Room Basket
I'm pretty sure my florist is doing it for free. I know he said if he put it together it would be about $150.00 but if I get him the stuff, he would just stuff it and make it look nice.

Re: Ladies Room Basket
Is this something you have to do??? I thought the reception halls usually have this stuff already... I always thought that those baskets are supplied by the hall... I am totally out of the loop here!
I'm having my reception at Fox Hollow - any Fox Hollow brides out there who can tell me if I need to do this? Thanks!
Edited to say: OOPS - I should've read ALL the posts - my question was answered! Thanks again!

Don't forget tampons or pads. and spray on deodorant. If your having fragrant flowers, some benedryl. I had lilacs, and my mom insisted on it.
I went nuts with my baskets and had so much left over, but you don't want your guests to need anything. I did a small one for men too.

Re: Ladies Room Basket
I set up baskets for both the men's and ladies room and left them at the hall four days before my wedding. Don't you just know that 3/4 of the stuff in both baskets was stolen long before my wedding day? I was PISSED. By the way, I had my affair at Imperial Manor (which I would never recommend to anyone).

You girls are pretty thorough. The only other things I could think of that I had in mine were bobby pins, a brush and those Neutrogena oil absorbing sheets (love those!).

Re: Ladies Room Basket
Crest Hollow Brides- they do not supply the baskets. But, the wedding woman said that if we supply the basket, people from the other affairs will use our stuff. I don't want to supply the whole Crest Hollow with hairspray!
