Ladies, Valentines Day is coming up and I got engaged on Feb 13, 2003

Ladies, Valentines Day is coming up and I got engaged on Feb 13, 2003

and I got my e-ring, last year I got a beautiful past, present, and future necklace (totally did not expect anything bec we had the wedding to pay for, but I was so happy!!) and my wedding band on October 1.

I am very lucky, I know, but I am hoping for diamond earrings!!!

What do you all want?

Flowers because Dale always gets me them from the supermarket. lol. I know it is the thought that counts but I have NEVER have received flowers for Valentines day.

not sure if we are going to gifts...V-day isn't our fave holiday, as it is the anniversary of DH grandmas' funeral (AND the same day we met...) so we always get each other a card. He's always thrown in a cute little stuffed animal and we always eat at Applebee's where it all began.....

besides, our 1 year is a few weeks later!

Yes we are..I posted some pictures of the appliances and such that we picked on the home board. I can't wait! Plus we are doing it ourselves, I can't wait to take a hammer to our walls!

I got engaged on February 13, 2004!

DH and I put a $20 limit on gifts since we are really trying to buckle down and save money.

I just want the biggest box of Godiva that he can get for $20!

My FI is hinting around...I think its a keepsake of some sort...well one of my gifts atleast!

I was thinking about V-day...last year we had only been going out for 8 months and now I am engaged!! I am sooo excited!

Ohh your engagement anniversary! Should I drop Phil a hint about the present you want? Hmm there is one necklace I have my heart set on--we aren't spending a lot this year, so I would love to get it. It is a red crystal kind of. Hard to explain. Now how to drop hints without being TOO obvious (should I leave up the webpage for when he gets home ?).

I have an idea. I should call your home phone on Saturday, but you have already left the house for shopping and Gregg will answer and I will drop the hint!!!!

I hope you do get your diamond ear rings!!!!
We agreed to not do anything giftwise for Valentines, we are desperately saving for the boys. Its hard, but worth it! Id LOVE a pair of Diamond earings though! Hmm...maybe next year!
