we went last night to pick out tuxedos! narrowly escaped a realllyyyyyy ugly tux situation. fh taste is much diff. from mine. but i used my swift trickery to divert him from the bad tux. all in all we did a good job. it actually seems real all of a sudden! woo hoo!

we actually went to paradise bridals where i got my dress and my girls dresses. they were very nice, but i have to say, i was not all that impressed with the range of colors/styles. also, they didn't really have a lot of vests you could look at. we had to go from a tiny swatch. but that is how we picked the color of the girls dresses, so i guess it will be okay! anniegirl! yea! your dress is in!

We're going to someplace in the Sunvet mall. My FSIL used to work there and is good friends w/ the owner so we're going to see what kind of deal we can get. Plus they have every 3rd tux free and we have 6 in the BP plus 2 fathers and 1 groom!! So we should get three free! It's called White Tie Tuxedo I think.

i know where that place is. that is an awesome deal on the tuxes! rob's tux is free, but the rest of the guys have to pay. i was just saying the other day, how come the grooms get stuff for free, but we have to pay up the wazzoo for every little thing? i think brides should get a few freebees here and there!!

I agree!!! I do like that some of them will get their tuxes free though. I think we're going to have my fiancee, my dad and his dad get the free tuxes. That seems fair!

Hello, MAY ladies! My planning is going great, and I am starting to get all the little things under control. Last night I went and bought all the ribbon for my invitations, and the paint for my favors. Yay! Now I can start putting everything together. We went over our guest list with a fine tooth comb two nights ago. I also went to the flea market over the weekend, and I bought my jewlery and the bridesmaids jewlery, and got great deals! YAY! Everything is finally falling into place! I also finished decorating 100 place cards!
wow, you're on the ball. thats awesome. i love your place card holders! yea! keep up the good work!! my mom and i are going next week to order our invites, and we are still working on our favors. my sister will be visting for three months while her husband is out to sea, so we are going to draft her to help us. i'm hoping we get them finished be for march is over.

Ahhh... I took off for the holidays and now I am scrambling to get back into planning mode! I work 6-7 days a week, so it is really difficult!
I can't wait to get married! I have ALL of the little stuff to do though. I know it will fall into place... right?
