I think it you can put it down because if people want to spend that much they will...or people might get a group gift and all chip in.

Just remember to put all different price ranges.

i can only speak for myself.. and since obviously i was on the other end-- purchasing.. id get soo angry when theres 8 pages of registry items and they are all under 30$ im like ***!? put bigger items. i wouldnt put too many 3$ items on there like tongs and potato chip clips.

dont feeel bad. put items 30$ and up cuz no1 will go to ur shower with a bag fulll of salad tongs and sal tn pepper shakers lol

just my opinion..

People look for things in all different price ranges, so don't skip things that you want/like base don price. If people think it's too expensive they won't buy it....simple as that.

put it and hope that stuff goes on sale! :)
that was our philosophy for some things

My thoughts are, this is the one time that you can get away with putting items like that on a list and having people buy them for you, so why not-just go for it

i put expensive stuff on it--i figured that people could chip in, or family members would get us something nice--hey when else is someone going to buy you such expensive stuff?

ITA. I put alot of stuff on in different price ranges. And I tried to put sets of stuff. Like a set of mixing bowls rather than one size here, one size there.

Just put them down. Either close friends or family will buy them, maybe your BP will all chip in and get you one of the more expensive items.

The worst that could happen is that they don't get bought, but then you still get a discount off of them!

It's one of two times in your life you'll ever be able to pick out what people buy for you....the other is the baby shower.

me and my friends always try to chip in so we only have to bring one gift!!!!!!

It's okay to put the expensive stuff on your registry. If your guests don't want to purchase something expensive, then they don't have to. But you will have guests who are more than willing to buy something very nice from your registry.

ITA. I tried to think of who would buy me this thing as I added it to my registry. Some of it I'm sure we won't get (and honestly, who needs a $400 espresso maker), but it would so much fun if we did. As long as there's some reasonable stuff, I say go for it!
