Ladies with PCOS

I have a question. I went to the ER with severe pain on Wednesday and it ends up I have endometriosis a complex cyst on the left and a follicle cyst on the right.

Can anyone tell me how long the pain lasts for?

She gave me medicine that would contradict with my porphyria so I couldn't take it. And the other meds she gave me have to be ordered because they are a narcotic and won't be in til Wednesday. So, I'm on Advil 3 times a day which is no cutting it.

What did they do in the ER to tell you that you have endometriosis? I have had stage 4 endo for 10 years and the ONLY way they can diagnose it is with a laproscopy.

as for the pain - Don't take advil them 750 mgs of Motrin (3 reg. pills). Its an anti-inflammatory and should help. Also, if you can get therma care heat pads, USE them. The heat really helps me.

I had an internal sono the night before I went to the ER that showed everything.

Sorry to crash but I have the same thing and that was the way they diagnosed me as well. And I take the same thing for the pain.
