I keep looking for other Lands End brides on this site and there aren't many of us. Just wondering if anyone else is getting married there soon. Seeing some of the other threads for RHs makes me want us to have a new one. Let's chat.

Yes, finally! Thanks for asking! Maybe I needed the little vacation we just took. This week I ordered favors, picked up my headpiece and earrings, my dress came in, and we're almost settled on a limo co and place for the rehearsal dinner.

Wow that is awesome! You had a very productive week. I got my grandpa measured for his tux, booked the honeymoon (we aren't going until April), got the girls' jewelry. Oh and 2 of my girls have had their first fittings. Now I just need to work on the other 3. Glad things are going well!

well i am trying to find shoes for a BM for two weddings that I am in...so its not necessarily mine....i am not sure i want to find a shoe yet for my dress...im going to wait on that

Oh gotcha. Definitely try Craft Shoes....I tried on a bunch of pairs and found 2 I loved.
I really think I am doing well. I still have to make sure all the tuxes are ordered (you know guys), 2 of my girls have had their first fitting- still need the other 3, we have our final appointment with the DJ in 2 weeks. We finalized our Menu. We have to meet with the priest to finalize everything.
Basically I feel like we are on track. We do still have to confirm limo and video and meet with the photographer again.

I am a lands end bride too!! That place is awesome!! My BMs and I are getting our shoes at Craft as well. They have a huge selection.

I am getting married at Land's End in about a month! I am very excited, but nervous! I picked a menu and I chose the pork chops instead of the chicken too! The porkchops were delicious! I am just praying the weather is going to be beautiful because I want to have cocktail hour outside.

I am choosing the pasta stations, carving station and I think the asian theme station. I am also doing a combo course and choosing the mushroom pastry thing...I can't remember the name! Then I am doing a choice between the filet mignon, talapia and pork chop.
The planning is going okay..finally found a makeup person, but now I am thinking about getting a shuttle for out of town guests and for some unknown reason, but FH is thinking about getting cigar rollers!

I am pretty much all set. Just have to have 2nd fitting and meet with DJ which we are doing next week. Have to meet with photographer also.

Wow! The review that was just posted about Land's End was wonderful!! It is so great hearing such rave reviews about it.... it makes me even more excited that I am getting married at Land's End than before (if thats possibe!)

I totally understand! After reading the reviews too it makes me so excited! I will say the tasting is a good sampling of how things will be. They answer all of your questions and stuff like that.
