so my dell has broken for the 4th time (in a year and a half) and so im done with fixing it and want to look into getting a new one..this time i really want something thats not going to break down 1000 times
i hear macs are great but im afraid i wont be able to figure out how to use them bc they are so different...but if u have one let me know what u think
and i also heard the sony vio was good...anyone have one? do they last for a long time??

MACS are the best out there...yes they are a lil more confusing but once u get ahold of it its 20 times easier...and you never have problems with it! its a lil more costly...but the reason is quality! i cant RECOMMEND a mac enough....go to the mac store...and play around on their computers...its fun!

I love my mac, the only problem is some of the software I have to use for work isn't compatible. My FH hates it though, so I am on the hunt for a new one for him.
One problem: if it is your only computer and you own an ipod, you will have to get a new ipod because once it is formatted for windows, you can't switch it to a mac.

My FH has all Mac, I use PC all the time, always have. Mac isn't too bad to get used to, now it's what I use at home, still on PC at work.

Yeah, I could put the library on it, but when I went to update it, it said it was formatted to windows blah, blah, blah.
I use my son's laptop to update it anyway.

once u go mac... u don't go back...
u can reformat your ipod, but the music will be erased if u try to sync it.. same as with updating ur ipod from one pc to another. they don't switch over..
