Re: Larkfield Manor
My friend recently was married there (OCT. 04)
They never mentioned any problems. Just make sure that you are positive on the money that will be expected before the wedding. My friend had to come up with an extra $500 because of taxes upon there last meeting.
I thought the wedding there was great. The food was wonderful. Her MD was wonderful--so funny. I was in the wedding party and we didn't want for anything. The CH was very good. The room was not packed with people. Everyone had a seat. I loved everything they served. Why do you feel you want to switch?

I went to a wedding there and I have to say that I was IMPRESSED with the service and the food!!!!
they had the full seafood boat and Vianese hour...The food was DELICIOUS!!!!!!! and it was a great wedding,,
The CH room was a nice size,,tons of seating for everyone and there had to be at least 260 at the wedding.
Good Luck

Re: Larkfield Manor
We had to push back our original date due to financial reasons and the earliest we could afford at the Thatched Cottage was November. Even at the end of October they run so high, because of the water setting. FI and I had initially narrowed down our reception hunt to Thatched Cottage and Larkfield Manor, we chose Thatched Cottage because they had our original date. We had a tasting at Larkfield Manor and was blown away with hoe awesome the food was, so I called last week and they have the date that we want and verified with the church and now we just need to take the jump , and the $$ loss at Thatched Cottage , and just do it!

It's great to hear the reviews.
I am so happy we are having our reception here. Since we are from OOT, the chef came in the day after christmas just to do our tasting. It was even better then we expected.
I say go for it! Join our small, but distinguished list of Larkfield brides!
